FIND THE NEXT PUBLISHED PAGE

Find new entries at the source.

Follow a public RSS feed, Atom feed or XML sitemap for newly seen entries. Preview the source, establish a quiet baseline and get an alert when a later scan finds a new matching item.

RSS + Atom + XML sitemaps · Quiet first scan · Optional phrase matching

AN EXAMPLE

A publisher’s announcement feed

Baseline
The current entries are recorded without an alert.
Next scan
A previously unseen announcement appears.
Match
Its captured title, description or URL contains your chosen phrase.

Illustrative feed workflow. Sitemap phrase matching uses the URL; linked page bodies are not fetched by this watch.

Watch the index, then choose what to follow.

News and announcements

Follow the publisher’s feed for new notices. Use any new entry or a literal case-insensitive phrase when only one subject matters.

Website additions

Watch supported sitemaps for newly seen URLs. A new URL in the watch is an observation, not proof of its original publication date.

A starting set of pages

Discover a source and import selected URLs for individual monitors when the question concerns changes inside those pages.

FROM QUESTION TO CAPTURED CONTEXT

A practical way to start.

  1. Discover and preview

Open source discovery and inspect the entries returned from a supported public URL.

  2. Choose a new-entry rule

On Pro or Business, create a recurring source watch for any new entry or a matching phrase. Confirm the initial quiet baseline.

  3. Review newly seen entries

Open the captured entry and follow its source link. Create a separate page monitor when you want to compare its content over time.

FIT IT TO YOUR WATCH LIST

Discover on every plan. Keep watching on Pro or Business.

Source discovery and selected-URL import are available on all plans. Recurring RSS, Atom and sitemap entry watches require Pro or Business and use a Cloud monitor slot.

Each source scan uses one HTML check, including supported bounded child sitemaps. The default interval is hourly, with a 15-minute minimum. Ordinary scanning uses no Browser allowance or AI Credits.

Common questions

Does it read every article linked by the feed?

No. A source watch compares captured feed entries or sitemap URLs. Monitor an individual page separately to track its body text, price or visual appearance.

Will existing entries trigger alerts when I save?

No. The initial successful scan establishes a quiet baseline. Subsequent previously unseen matching entries can trigger alerts.

Can I match a phrase inside a sitemap page?

Sitemap rules match the captured URL, not the body of each linked page. Feed rules can match the captured title, description and URL.
