SEE THE DIFFERENCE

Visual website monitoring, down to the region that matters.

Some changes are easier to see than describe. Compare screenshots of a page, banner or selected region, highlight pixel differences, and keep the captured before and after close at hand.

AN EXAMPLE

Landing page banner · illustrative comparison

Before
A short offer banner above the page content.
After
A taller banner with a different background and button position.
What to review
The highlighted region shows where pixels changed. Decide whether the new appearance is expected.

Illustration of a visual review. Changed area measures pixels, not importance, accessibility or semantic meaning.

Watch appearance when appearance is the question.

Your website after a release

Follow an important page section across scheduled captures. Review unexpected layout shifts, a changed banner or a missing element; use your test suite for functional assertions.

Competitor landing pages

See how a competitor’s offer or layout evolves. Choose a stable region to avoid unrelated changes in rotating promotions, ads or other dynamic areas.

Charts and visual content

Watch a graphic or region whose useful information is not represented in extracted text. Confirm that the cloud screenshot shows the state you actually want to follow.

FROM QUESTION TO CAPTURED CONTEXT

A practical way to start.

  1. Load a cloud screenshot

Open the visual starter, add the URL and confirm the preview. Choose the visible page, a supported full-page capture, an element or a drawn region.

  2. Keep noise out of the comparison

Start with the balanced settings. Adjust the minimum changed area and pixel tolerance, and mask clocks or ads. Recorded public actions and loading controls can prepare a stable page state.

  3. Compare the retained images

Save the quiet baseline. Later qualifying changes provide before, after and pixel-diff views. Inspect the image history before deciding what to do.

FIT IT TO YOUR WATCH LIST

Try visual monitoring with the Browser trial.

Free includes 1 visual monitor within the one-time 7-day Browser trial, up to 168 hourly attempts shared with other trial Browser checks. Starter supports 3 active visual monitors, Pro 10, and Business 25.

Visual checks share the Browser allowance. Image history lasts up to 7 days on Free, 14 on Starter, 30 on Pro and 30 on Business, subject to image storage limits. Screenshots are private and stored separately from text captures.

Common questions

Can I ignore an advertisement or changing clock?

Yes. Mask supported elements using ignored selectors, select a smaller region, or adjust the changed-area threshold and pixel tolerance. Test the final screenshot; no setting can make every dynamic page completely stable.

Can I open a filter or tab before taking the screenshot?

Supported recorded interactions can prepare public page state before capture. Combine them with bounded waits and scrolling, then test cloud replay. Never record credentials, purchases or sensitive values.

Can I use a supported signed-in page?

Starter, Pro and Business can use an approved workspace site connection for supported pages. Configure and verify it on PageFluxer. The extension does not import your browser cookies or login automatically.

Do screenshots get sent to the AI summary service?

No. This visual comparison uses pixels and deterministic thresholds. Visual-only changes and screenshots are outside the AI text-summary scope.
