MAKE THE WATCH LIST YOURS

A quieter way to follow a hard-to-find item.

A collector’s item, a replacement part, or a supplier’s product may sit out of stock for days. Watching the entire store page can also pick up promotions and unrelated recommendations. Instead, select the item’s own availability label and tell PageFluxer which change matters. Your watch list stays focused on the products you actually want.

Watch a stock transition

Choose Becomes available or Becomes unavailable. The rule reacts to a change in the confirmed stock state, rather than repeating an alert while it stays the same.

Track price on the same page

Add a price target alongside availability. Both targets share one page load and one scheduled-check attempt.

Keep uncertainty visible

A missing stock label or unrecognized message is a check issue. It is not silently treated as out of stock.

FROM PAGE TO USEFUL ALERT

Here’s how to set it up.

The guided builder walks you through your page, goal, selection, delivery, and final confirmation.

  1. Start with the product page

Paste the specific public product URL and choose Availability. If the store offers a direct URL for a size or variant, preview that exact page and verify what it represents.

  2. Select the availability message

Use the visual picker or text list to select the stock label. Confirm that PageFluxer reads it as available or unavailable. Adjust the available and unavailable phrases to match the store’s wording.

  3. Set the change you want to hear about

Choose Becomes available for a restock alert. Optionally add a Price target and choose price changes, drops, or a threshold. Select one current price and confirm the currency and decimal format.

  4. Preview, schedule, and save

Confirm the initial values, choose HTML checks or Browser checks, and review the monthly usage estimate. Enable email alerts or an email digest; Pro can also send matching events to your webhook.

THE CONTEXT BEHIND THE ALERT

See the captured update before returning to the store.

A restock alert links back to the monitor’s change history. Review the previous and current availability wording alongside any price changes. If extraction fails, PageFluxer preserves the last successful values instead of inventing a stock transition. Checks happen on a schedule, so an item may sell out between checks or before you return to the retailer.

Common questions

Can PageFluxer buy or reserve the item?

No. PageFluxer checks public page content and sends alerts. You complete any purchase or reservation on the retailer’s website.

Can I monitor a particular size, color, or variant?

Use a direct public URL when the store exposes the variant that way, and confirm its availability in the preview. PageFluxer does not click dropdowns or submit forms to switch variants. A generic product page may show a different stock state from the one you need.

Will I get an alert if the item is already available when I save?

The confirmed preview is the starting baseline, so it does not send a restock alert. Becomes available alerts after a later successful check detects a transition from unavailable to available. An unrecognized stock message remains a check issue.
