FROM URL TO UPDATE

A little less checking.
A lot more context.

PageFluxer watches page content, prices, availability, and new listings on public webpages. Captured changes go into history; matching alert rules trigger your chosen notifications.

01 / CHOOSE

Add a page

Paste a public URL and choose what matters: page changes, a price, availability, specific content, or new listings. If you’re new, sign in with an email link and continue setup with your URL already filled in.

02 / CAPTURE

Save the baseline

Preview the page, select up to three targets, and confirm the extracted values. Choose your alert rules, schedule, and notifications before saving. Your confirmed preview becomes the starting baseline.

03 / COMPARE

Get the heads-up

Scheduled checks compare against the last capture. Value changes are saved in history, and matching alert rules queue your enabled notifications. For a threshold such as “below $30,” we alert when the condition becomes true, not on every check while it stays true.

See what changed, not just that it changed.

Open a history entry to see added and removed words. Expand the before-and-after captures when you need more context. Very large changes use full-text views instead of an inline diff.

Examples are illustrative. Your monitor records the text it actually captured at each successful check.

Which pages work?

Start with HTML checks for content returned directly by a public webpage. If the value you need only appears after JavaScript runs, choose Browser checks. Starter and Pro include Browser checks, and Free includes a one-time trial. Price and availability rules work with either loading method.

Neither mode signs in to other websites, compares screenshot pixels or visual layouts, or reads linked PDFs. Some websites block automated requests, and some dynamic content may still be unavailable. The visual picker helps you select page elements; it does not monitor image changes.

Explore HTML checks and Browser checks.

The preview is your check: during setup, confirm the relevant text or value is present before you save. If it is missing, see missing-content troubleshooting.

Choose how updates reach you

All plans offer email for each matching change, an hourly digest, or a daily digest at a saved local time. Starter and Pro add quiet hours, minimum email intervals, and per-monitor schedules. Pro can also send signed webhooks to one HTTPS endpoint, enabled separately per monitor. Quiet hours delay and combine email without stopping checks or history. Webhooks run independently of email schedules.

Before you start

How often are pages checked?

HTML checks can run as often as every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro. You can choose a slower schedule during setup. Browser checks run no faster than every 60 minutes on Starter or 15 minutes on Pro. The Free browser trial uses hourly checks. Service capacity and website backoff may delay checks. All checks are subject to usage allowances. Failed checks retry with a delay.

How much history can I keep?

Free includes up to 7 days, Starter 30 days, and Pro 90 days, subject to each plan’s storage allowance. We retain the latest capture as a baseline while the monitor exists. Downgrading shortens history access; deleted history cannot be recovered by upgrading.

Will I get an email for the first capture?

No. The preview you confirm during setup becomes the baseline. Alerts begin when a later successful check detects a change that matches your rules.

Does a website’s every change get recorded?

No. We compare captures at check time. A change that happens and disappears between checks can be missed. A failed or blocked check cannot capture the current page.
