MAKE THE WATCH LIST YOURS

Separate finding an opportunity from following it.

A listing page tells you what is new. A notice page tells you what changed about a bid or funding call you already know. PageFluxer supports both jobs: a New items monitor for the index, and a separate text or PDF monitor for the specific opportunity. Keep those signals distinct so an amended document is not mistaken for a new tender.

Find newly linked notices

Watch the public opportunity list and optionally match a phrase in each new link’s text or URL. Existing items become the baseline; reordering alone does not count as a new opportunity.

Follow the shortlisted details

Monitor an individual notice for changes to wording, dates or requirements. Add a direct public PDF URL separately to follow its selectable text.

Review together on Business

Group monitors with labels. Share captures and a review state with your workspace, then enable a connected team channel on the monitors that matter.

FROM PAGE TO USEFUL ALERT

Here’s how to set it up.

Add your URL, choose what matters, and confirm the cloud preview. Customize notification delivery on the monitor’s details page after saving.

  1. Start with an official public index

Choose the organization’s tender or grant listing URL. The workflow starter selects New items, a six-hour schedule and an opportunities label. All three are editable before you save.

  2. Confirm the links your monitor can see

Load the cloud preview. Narrow the selection to the opportunity list if it includes navigation or unrelated links. Add a phrase only when the wording appears in the link text or URL; it does not search inside every linked notice.

  3. Track the notices worth pursuing

Create a separate Page changes monitor for an opportunity’s detail page. For a direct public PDF, create a separate PDF text monitor. A list monitor does not recursively read every linked document or follow later URL replacements automatically.

  4. Choose delivery and a review routine

After saving, use the monitor’s Notifications panel for email, webhook or connected Business channels. Have a teammate review relevant changes in the shared Changes inbox. Verify dates and submission requirements with the publishing organization.

THE CONTEXT BEHIND THE ALERT

Keep the revision next to the source.

A detected update links to retained before-and-after content so the reviewer can identify the captured wording that changed. Marking a change reviewed lets Business teammates see who handled it. Detection time is when PageFluxer observed the update, not its publication time. Keep important bid records in your own recordkeeping system because history and storage limits apply.

WHEN THE TEAM NEEDS THE SAME CONTEXT

Share the watch list. Keep a clear review queue.

Try this workflow on your current plan. Business brings 5 people into one workspace with shared monitors, retained history and reviewed/unreviewed state. Labels group related pages; the reviewer is visible to teammates.

Common questions

Does this submit bids, assess eligibility or track deadlines for me?

No. PageFluxer detects captured page changes. It does not submit bids, determine eligibility, create calendar reminders or guarantee that a deadline will be caught. Use official notices and verify requirements with the publisher.

Can it monitor a procurement portal behind a login?

These workflows use public pages. PageFluxer does not inherit your browser login or cookies. Public filters can sometimes be replayed with recorded steps; sign-in flows and access challenges are not supported. Confirm the result in the cloud preview.

Should I use New items or Watch for new entries?

Use New items for links on an ordinary webpage. Use Watch for new entries on Pro or Business when you have an RSS, Atom or sitemap source. Both establish an initial baseline. To detect edits to an existing notice or PDF, monitor that document separately.

Does a matching phrase search the whole tender document?

A New items phrase matches the captured link text and URL. A source watch uses the fields documented in the discovery guide. Neither workflow opens every linked document to infer relevance. Use a separate text monitor for wording inside a shortlisted notice.
