Focus on the important region
Select a hero banner, pricing section or other page area. A smaller region makes unrelated movement less likely to trigger a notification.
Keep a second pair of eyes on your public website. Compare a page or selected region, see the pixels that changed, and bring the update to the team responsible for it.

A visual change crossed your threshold. Open the image comparison to review it.
A marketing site can change between releases: a CMS edit, a new banner, a pricing block or a third-party widget can alter the result. A visual monitor compares the appearance of the same public page on a schedule. Use a focused region and stable capture settings to make the update useful, then have a person decide whether the change was intended.

Use noise controls and masks for rotating content. Add bounded waits, scrolling or recorded public steps only when the page needs them to reach a repeatable state.
On Business, teammates can open the same private image history and share a reviewed state. Connected channel cards link back to PageFluxer; they do not expose private screenshot URLs.
Add your URL, choose what matters, and confirm the cloud preview. Customize notification delivery on the monitor’s details page after saving.
The starter opens Visual monitoring with a daily schedule and a website-qa label. Add your URL and capture a preview. Visual checks use the Browser allowance, including Free’s one-time trial.
Use the whole page or choose a region. Confirm the viewport and content are right. Add loading controls or recorded public steps if needed; the cloud browser does not inherit your personal login or cookies.
Mask distracting elements and adjust pixel tolerance and the minimum changed area. Keep the starting screenshot as the baseline. Test the page before saving so a rotating banner is not mistaken for an important layout update.
Open the before, after and difference views when an alert arrives. Compare against your release or campaign notes, then mark the change reviewed. Enable email or a connected Business channel from the monitor’s details page.
Private before-and-after screenshots and highlighted differences help a reviewer inspect a captured change. PageFluxer does not know whether a design change is a bug or an approved update, and it does not run assertions about accessibility, conversions or checkout success. Image history has its own finite storage and retention limits; it is separate from text captures.
Compare schedules, usage, and history →Try this workflow on your current plan. Business brings 5 people into one workspace with shared monitors, retained history and reviewed/unreviewed state. Labels group related pages; the reviewer is visible to teammates.
Build a team review routine →Keep setup focused on the page and the change you need. Advanced loading, notification schedules and optional AI remain available when they help.
Step-by-step documentation →No. It compares scheduled screenshots of public pages. It does not submit transactions, verify a complete user journey or guarantee continuous availability. Use it alongside your release tests and service monitoring.
Yes. Browser loading controls and bounded recorded steps can prepare supported public pages. Record in the Chrome extension or edit the steps in PageFluxer, then confirm the cloud preview. Passwords, imported cookies and arbitrary scripts are not supported.
No. Business members share access to the whole workspace; there are no per-monitor permissions. Keep a workspace’s audience appropriate for every monitor and capture in it. Do not use labels as an access boundary.
The starter is available on every plan. Visual monitoring uses each plan’s active visual-monitor slots, Browser checks and image-history limits. Free includes a one-time Browser trial. Business adds a shared workspace, review state and team notification channels.
Choose what matters, confirm the preview, and let your first monitor take over the repeat visits.
