Chrome extension 0.4.7: a smoother Local monitoring workflow

PageFluxer Chrome extension 0.4.7 is published, with confirmed price captures, easier Local setup, clearer browser status and more reliable saves.

Version 0.4.7 is available in the Chrome Web Store

PageFluxer Chrome extension 0.4.7 was published on October 18, 2026. This update brings together improvements to Local capture confirmation, setup, monitor management and browser status. It is designed to make the moment between choosing a page and trusting its monitor easier to understand.

You can keep using the same PageFluxer account and workspace. Chrome normally updates installed extensions automatically. To check your version, open chrome://extensions and view PageFluxer’s details. After updating, open Local monitors and choose Refresh.

Confirm the price you actually want to follow

On supported product pages, Local can detect a current offer and its currency, then test it in a fresh browser tab before you confirm. Exact element selection remains available when you need it. The preview gives you a chance to check that the product, variant and amount match your intended watch.

Version 0.4.7 improves saving those confirmed captures. It also handles interrupted connections more reliably, so recovering a confirmed save does not create another monitor. If capture settings change or confirmation expires, a fresh test is still required.

Move through setup without losing your place

Local setups sent from the website, API or a connected assistant can be reviewed in your selected Chrome profile. Supported monitors can move between Cloud and Local through a fresh test and confirmation, while retaining history and notification settings.

Edits stay attached to the correct monitor as you switch tabs or reopen the side panel. Search, clearer type and frequency badges, and editable preparation steps make a growing Local list easier to manage. Monitor names changed on the website stay in sync with the browser list.

See what needs attention

Browser contact, successful monitoring and received results are different signals. The updated status makes those differences clearer and helps you find monitors that need attention. Error dialogs keep longer messages readable without discarding your work, and repeated background messages stay quieter.

Local checks still need Chrome running on an awake desktop with working access to the selected site. A recent browser connection does not prove that every check succeeded. Cloud remains the option for checks that need to continue when your computer is off; visual comparisons, PDFs and feed sources retain their Cloud workflows.

Read the full version history for the included improvements, or follow the Cloud and Local transfer guide when moving a supported monitor.
