Separate new releases from revised notes
A feed watch detects newly seen entries. A text monitor on one release-note page detects subsequent wording changes. Choose each deliberately.
Follow the official sources behind the software your team uses. Catch new announcements, review the captured context and decide what needs a closer look.

An agency maintaining client websites can follow WordPress core announcements alongside other permitted vendor feeds. A product team can watch a supplier’s changelog. Choose official subscriptions when they already meet the need; use PageFluxer when a shared queue and retained context help the review.

Prefer an official RSS or Atom feed intended for subscription. For a webpage, check the exact publisher’s access policy and confirm the preview.
Use labels and retained history to keep product sources together. Business adds a shared review state and connected Slack or Microsoft Teams delivery.
Add the source URL, review the parsed entries, and choose import or ongoing alerts. Customize delivery after saving a watch.
Use the publisher’s release feed or a permitted changelog page. Confirm which product and release channel it covers, and whether a native subscription is enough.
For RSS or Atom, use Watch for new entries. Inspect the returned titles and URLs. The confirmed current entries establish a quiet baseline.
Watch any new entry for coverage, or use a literal phrase in supported feed fields. A security phrase filter can miss relevant entries; it does not inspect installed software or classify every release.
Save a recurring source watch on Pro or Business. Configure the destination and an appropriate interval. Assign a reviewer to read the original announcement and decide the next action.
A release alert provides captured context and a source to review. It does not inventory your dependencies, detect vulnerabilities, check compatibility or install updates. Keep native vendor notices, update management and security tooling in place. An edited known feed entry needs a separate text monitor if the revision matters.
Compare schedules, usage, and history →Keep setup focused on the page and the change you need. Advanced loading, notification schedules and optional AI remain available when they help.
Step-by-step documentation →Yes, when the publisher provides a permitted readable page or supported public feed. Confirm whether you need new announcements or wording changes inside an existing notice. PageFluxer does not infer which integration code is affected.
Recurring RSS and Atom source watches require Pro or Business. Ordinary New items monitoring on a readable release page uses the normal page-monitor allowances on all plans. Discovery previews and imports are separate from recurring source watches.
No completeness guarantee is possible. Feed coverage, filters, failed checks and entries rotating out between scans can affect detection. Use official security subscriptions and your normal patch process as well.
Not when the entry is already known. Use an individual text monitor for later edits to a release-note page you are permitted to monitor.
Choose what matters, confirm the preview, and let your first monitor take over the repeat visits.
