Your words.
A monitor you can review.
Describe the change you care about. AI suggests a configuration from your cloud capture, then the regular setup controls let you check and refine it.
Describe, review, start.
- Add a public page or PDF and let its cloud preview load.
- Open Describe it with AI. Enter your request and allow that request and selected captured text to be sent to OpenAI.
- Choose Suggest a setup. If something is unclear or unsupported, revise your request or use the regular controls.
- Choose Use this setup & review. Confirm the goal, selection, condition, currency and delivery settings. Test again if loading controls changed. A visual suggestion opens visual setup for a screenshot preview.
- Choose Start monitoring. Only this final action creates the monitor.
You can always use the normal goal buttons and selectors. AI is an optional shortcut, and an inaccurate suggestion can be changed before saving.
Say the part that matters.
| Example request | Result to review |
|---|---|
| Notify me when anything on this page changes. | A whole-page text change rule. For appearance changes, explicitly ask for visual monitoring. |
| Notify me when a new item contains senior engineer. | A new-item rule with that literal phrase in the item’s title or URL. This is not semantic job classification. |
| Notify me when this price falls below CAD 20. | A selected, verified price and downward threshold crossing. Specify the currency; a dollar sign alone can be ambiguous. |
| Watch this page’s appearance and keep updates in history only. | A visual setup with email off. Review the capture area, noise controls and screenshot before saving. |
For a specific item, include a distinctive name. When the capture lacks enough evidence, select the element manually or adjust page loading. Existing recorded steps stay intact; AI does not generate arbitrary interactions. PDFs support whole-document text rules.
Ordinary rules after setup.
The AI helps configure the monitor once. Scheduled checks use PageFluxer’s deterministic rules; they do not send each capture to AI or charge another setup credit. A new-item rule compares item identities, a price threshold triggers on crossing, and the first capture establishes a baseline without an initial alert.
Email follows your account schedule. History-only and email-plus-webhook requests are supported; webhooks require a configured Pro endpoint. Notification details, quiet hours and integrations remain editable on the monitor details page. Requests for unsupported workflows ask for clarification instead of silently configuring a different feature.
A useful allowance on every plan.
| Plan | AI setups per calendar month |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Starter | 25 |
| Pro | 100 |
One usable suggestion uses one credit, even if you decide not to apply or save it. Clarifications, unsupported requests and failed suggestions use no setup credit. Retrying the same in-flight request does not double-charge. Allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first of the month; plan changes and deleting monitors do not reset usage.
Attempt and service limits also apply to control costs, including unsuccessful requests. At a limit, regular monitor creation and existing monitors keep working. AI setup credits are separate from AI change summary credits, capture previews and checks. See your remaining allowance in setup or Usage & plan.
You choose what is shared.
Each AI request requires your consent in setup. PageFluxer sends your prompt, a bounded excerpt of the captured text, candidate labels and available capabilities to OpenAI. It does not send screenshots, raw HTML, your account email, browser cookies, recorded input values as configuration, or raw CSS selectors. Recorded values can still appear in the captured page text, so use only public, non-sensitive content.
Common email, link and credential patterns are filtered from page excerpts, but this is not a guarantee that every sensitive detail is removed. Do not enter secrets or personal information. OpenAI’s API data policies apply; consent for AI setup does not enable automatic change summaries. Read the privacy policy →
PageFluxer keeps the suggestion and a request hash for up to one day to make retries safe, with monthly usage totals for up to 13 months and daily attempt counters for up to 35 days. It does not retain your raw prompt in these receipts. Removing those receipts is background cleanup; saved monitor settings remain until changed or deleted.
