AI summaries explain eligible captured changes in a few sentences. They are useful for wording, policies, and listings; the saved before-and-after content remains available for you to verify.
Summarize a saved change when you need it
- Open a monitor and select a retained change.
- Choose Summarize this change in the AI summary section.
- If prompted, review and accept the consent before any captured text is sent for summarization.
The request starts from the web app. You do not need to wait for the next notification run. An existing saved summary is reused; reopening it does not generate another one. Summarizing one change does not enable automatic summaries.
Let eligible future changes come with context
On the monitor details page, find AI change summaries, enable automatic summaries, confirm consent, and save your preferences. This applies to future eligible matching changes on that monitor.
When ready, the summary appears with the change and can be included in its alert email. An email already sent is not resent just because a summary becomes available later. Normal monitoring and alerts continue when summaries are unavailable or your allowance runs out.
Simple price and stock alerts already explain the captured values and do not use AI credits. Summaries do not change your alert rules or decide whether a change should notify you.
You choose what is sent for summarization
With your consent, PageFluxer sends selected before-and-after captured text to OpenAI. Do not enable summaries for confidential or sensitive content. Read how AI summaries work in our Privacy Policy.
AI can make mistakes or miss context. The before-and-after captures are the source to review before acting on an important change. Summaries describe the available excerpts, not everything on the linked website.
An allowance shared across your account
- Free: 5 summaries to try, once per account.
- Starter: 50 summaries per calendar month.
- Pro: 250 summaries per calendar month.
On-demand and automatic summaries use the same allowance. Failed summaries do not use it. Check Usage & plan for your current usage and remaining allowance.
If a summary cannot be prepared
Read the message beside the change. A temporary failure may offer a retry after a short cooldown. The retained captures must still be available and contain enough context; an expired capture or an exhausted allowance cannot be fixed by repeatedly requesting a summary.
If another request is already running, give it time to finish. You can continue reviewing the captured change and using PageFluxer while the summary is being prepared.
