Take a temporary break

Open the monitor and find Take a break from change alerts. Choose one hour, 24 hours or seven days, then select Snooze change alerts. The screen shows the end time in your local timezone. You can change the duration or choose Resume now.

Snooze is per monitor and shared by the workspace. It suppresses normal change alerts across email, generic webhooks, Slack, Teams and Discord. It does not change which channels are enabled or require an extension update.

Checks and retained evidence continue

The monitor keeps checking on its existing schedule. Successful changes remain in history and price observations continue to populate charts. Those checks still count against the normal Cloud allowance. Local checks still require the connected browser to be running on an awake desktop.

Changes captured during the snooze are not queued for later delivery. Automatic expiry or early resume allows future matching changes to notify you; it does not send a catch-up digest of snoozed changes. The change timeline identifies alerts suppressed by snoozing.

Understand pending messages

Starting a snooze removes waiting change items whose delivery has not started. If a waiting email digest also includes other monitors, their items are kept for regrouping. A message whose delivery has already started may still arrive, because an external provider may already have accepted it.

Health notices, no-change alerts, manual delivery tests and scheduled reports retain their own settings. A weekly report can still describe retained changes from a snoozed monitor. Adjust those settings separately if you need a wider break.

Choose snooze, quiet hours or pause

Use snooze for a temporary interruption break. Use email quiet hours for a recurring schedule; native channels are independent of that email schedule. Disable individual delivery methods when you do not want that destination to receive future alerts.

Pause the monitor when you want checks themselves to stop. Pausing creates an observation gap; snoozing does not. Neither mode can establish what happened on the source between successful checks.
