SAVE YOUR PLACE

A useful watch can wait until you’re ready.

Keep the settings you’ve chosen, take a break, and return to a fresh view of the page. Saving a setup draft does not start a monitor.

Save without starting checks

  1. Open ordinary PageFluxer Cloud setup from your dashboard. Enter the page or direct PDF address; leaving off https:// is fine.
  2. Choose the settings you know. A page draft can keep an unfinished selector or price threshold so you can finish it later.
  3. Choose Save draft to stay in setup, or Save and finish later to return to the draft list.
  4. Look for the saved status and expiry date. Edits made after that save are marked as unsaved.

Drafts are saved explicitly, not continuously. Save again before navigating away. A browser warning can help with refreshes or closing a tab, but should not replace checking the saved status. Invalid fields, unsafe recorded steps or an unfinished visual region may need correction before a draft can be saved.

Resume with a fresh capture

Open Settings → Setup drafts, or the draft shortcut in your first-monitor checklist. Choose Resume setup. Review the URL, loading method, selected content, rule, schedule and notification choices.

A page or PDF setup loads a new preview. In visual setup, choose the capture action again. Detected product identity and earlier price confirmations are not reused: re-select the current offer and confirm the amount and currency. Review recorded steps before replaying them because the source page may have changed.

Starting monitoring still runs the normal plan, preview, site-connection and rule checks. A successful save removes the draft from the list. A failed save keeps it available so you can correct the problem.

Ten drafts, thirty days, one workspace

Each workspace can keep up to ten unfinished web drafts on any plan. Each save extends the expiry to 30 days from that save. Expired drafts cannot be resumed and are removed in background cleanup. Delete an unneeded draft from the list, or finish one to make room.

Drafts are separate from paused monitors imported from URLs or CSV, which do occupy monitor slots. Creating previews uses the normal preview allowance. A saved draft does not reserve capacity, lock a plan price or guarantee later access to a source.

If two people or tabs edit the same draft, PageFluxer rejects a conflicting save and keeps the current fields on screen. Reload the latest draft or use Save as a new draft to keep your own version if space is available.

Know what you’re saving

Drafts can contain the page address, name, labels, selectors, rule text, schedule, loading controls, recorded non-sensitive values and a reference to a workspace site connection. Owners and admins in that workspace can see these settings.

Drafts do not store preview captures, screenshots, confirmed prices, website cookies or connection credentials. Selected URLs and rule text may still be private. Don’t put secrets into these fields. AI suggestions can be saved as ordinary reviewed settings, but a draft does not preserve AI consent or an AI response.

Common questions

Do drafts use monitor slots or run checks?

No. Saving a draft stores setup settings only. Starting the finished monitor uses your normal plan allowances. Loading a preview still uses the normal preview allowance.

Can teammates resume my draft?

Owners and admins in the same workspace can view, resume and delete saved drafts. Ordinary workspace members cannot access draft settings. Use the correct workspace before saving.

Does this replace Chrome extension drafts?

No. These drafts cover ordinary web setup for Cloud page, PDF and visual monitors. Extension handoffs, Local setup requests and source watches keep their existing workflows. Chrome extension 0.4.7 does not need an update for the dashboard changes.
